UserReviews Privacy Policy
UserReviews processes your personal data only to run the site, protect the community from abuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising or profiling.
1. Controller and scope

- Scope: userreviews.online and all related services.
- Legal basis: the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) for users in Türkiye and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union and the European Economic Area.
- Age limit: membership is closed to people under 16.
- Information about cookies is in the Cookie Policy.
2. What data we process and why

Data whose retention period has ended is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. There is no automated decision-making: topic approvals, content removal and account penalties are always decided by a moderator.
3. What is public
Your display name, username, profile photo, about me text, join date, your approved topics and your comments are public and may appear in search engines. Your email address, messages, blocked members and reports are never shown to other members; a member you report is not told who reported them.
4. Sharing, international transfers and security
Our service providers process data only on our behalf and on our instructions:

Authorities: when there is a court order or a legal request, we share the relevant data with the competent authorities only as far as necessary.
International transfers: our servers are in Türkiye. Google and Cloudflare may process data in other countries such as the USA and the EU. These transfers rely on legal safeguards such as Article 9 of the KVKK and the GDPR standard contractual clauses.
Security: all connections are encrypted with HTTPS, no passwords are stored on the site and only authorised moderators can access the admin panel. In case of a data breach we notify the competent authority and affected members within the legal deadline (72 hours under the GDPR).
5. Your rights and contact
Under Article 11 of the KVKK and Articles 15–22 of the GDPR you have the right to:
- Know whether your data is processed and get a copy of it
- Have incorrect or incomplete data corrected (you can change your display name, photo and about me text yourself in your profile)
- Have your data and content erased (except data we must keep by law)
- Restrict processing and object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Claim compensation for damage
Requests: send your request from your registered email address to destek@userreviews.online. After verifying your identity we reply free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or, in the EU, to the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Changes: when this policy is updated the new version is published on the site; important changes are announced. If translations differ, the Turkish text prevails.
