UserReviews Terms of Use

1. Parties and subject

These terms are an agreement between userreviews.online ("UserReviews", "we"), which operates the userreviews.online website, and the person who signs in with a Google account ("Member", "you"). Address: Ankara, Türkiye. Contact: destek@userreviews.online.

UserReviews is a free community platform where users open topics about products, services and brands, share their experiences as comments and can send each other messages. By signing in you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Sections 5, 6 and 8 also apply to visitors who only read the site.

2. Membership

• Membership is free and only possible with a Google account; the site does not store passwords.
• You must be at least 16 years old to become a member.
• Each person may use only one account. Accounts are personal and cannot be transferred.
• Your display name, profile photo and "about me" text are visible to everyone. Your email address is never shown to other members.
• You are responsible for the security of your Google account.

3. Content rules

The following are forbidden in topics, comments, messages and profile fields:

1. Insults, threats, harassment, hate speech and discrimination.
2. Sharing other people's personal information (phone, address, ID, licence plate etc.) without permission.
3. Untrue, misleading or fake reviews; secretly praising a brand on its behalf or smearing a competitor; accepting money or gifts in exchange for reviews.
4. Advertising, spam, referral links and posting the same content repeatedly.
5. Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or trade secrets.
6. Promotion of illegal products or services, obscene content and incitement to crime.
7. Impersonating another person or organisation.

Write honestly, based on your own experience. If you are connected to a company (employee, owner, sponsored user), say so clearly in your post.

4. Publishing and permanence of content

• Topics you open are published after a moderator reviews and approves them. Rejected topics are deleted and you are notified with the topic title and the rejection.
• Comments on approved topics are published immediately; reported comments are reviewed by moderators.
• To keep discussions intact, published topics and comments cannot be deleted by members themselves. If you want your content removed or you shared personal information by mistake, write to destek@userreviews.online; requests involving personal data are handled first.
• You keep the rights to what you write. By posting content you grant UserReviews a free, non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce and display it on the site and in search engines.
• Authors are responsible for their content. UserReviews does not guarantee the accuracy of published reviews; they are the personal opinions of their authors.

5. Reports, moderation and penalties

• You can report a comment that breaks the rules with the "Report" button under every comment. For content that infringes your rights (e.g. personality rights, copyright) you can also write to destek@userreviews.online, stating the address of the content and your reasons.
• Moderators review reports and may decide to: dismiss the report, delete the content, suspend the account for 1 month or 3 months, or close the account permanently.
• A suspended member cannot sign in until the suspension ends. The email address of a permanently closed account is recorded and cannot be used to sign up again.
• You can appeal a decision about you by writing to destek@userreviews.online; a moderator will review it again.
• In serious cases (threats, criminal content) the competent authorities may be informed.

6. Messaging and blocking

Members can send each other private messages. When you block a member, they cannot message you and their comments are hidden from you. The rules in section 3 also apply to messages.

7. Closing your account

To close your account, write to destek@userreviews.online from your registered email address. Your account will be closed within 30 days: your profile and messages are deleted, and your published topics and comments are anonymised as "deleted member" or deleted on request. Records kept because of rule violations are stored for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, UserReviews is not liable for damages resulting from purchase or other decisions you make based on content shared by members. UserReviews is a hosting provider; it is not obliged to check content in advance, but removes illegal content once it becomes aware of it.

9. Changes and applicable law

These terms may be updated; the new version is published on the site and important changes are announced. The law of the Republic of Türkiye applies and the courts and enforcement offices of Ankara have jurisdiction. Consumers living in the European Union keep the rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country. If translations differ, the Turkish text prevails.
